St. Clare Medical Center is a tobacco-free campus. Under this policy patients, visitors, volunteers, students, physicians and staff are prohibited from using any tobacco products on any property that is owned or rented by St. Clare Medical Center is prohibited.

Secondhand smoke is the third-leading cause of preventable death in the United States. Secondhand smoke poses a special risk to children, pregnant women, the elderly, those with heart disease and those with respiratory issues such as asthma. As healthcare providers, St. Clare Medical Center has made a commitment to the health and safety of our patients, visitors and employees.
