Your Accommodations

YOUR ROOM
Your room assignment at St. Clare Medical Center is based upon your admitting diagnosis and the bed availability on the day of your admission.

Private (single bed) and semi-private (two beds) rooms are available. Each bed is electrically operated, and your nurse will show you how to work your bed properly. Bedside rails are for your protection. They may be raised at night or during the day if you are resting, recovering from surgery or taking certain medications.

NURSE CALL SYSTEM
All patient rooms are equipped with a nurse call system. The nurse call system should be used to alert the nurse that you need assistance. A nurse will answer your call light either by the intercom or in person as soon as he or she is available. Upon admission, you and your family will be given instructions on how to use this system.

YOUR VALUABLES
Please leave all valuables at home. The hospital cannot be responsible for the loss of any personal items including money. If you do wish to bring valuables into the hospital, please take advantage of the hospital safe. Please see your nurse for assistance.
